Patidar Leader Hardik Patel Marries Childhood Friend In Gujarat


Gujarat Patidar leader Hardik Patel married his childhood friend, Kinjal Parikh, in a traditional ceremony today. Their wedding took place at a temple in Gujarat's Surendranagar, about 130 km from Ahmedabad. "This is the beginning of the second innings of my family life," he told reporters after the ceremony.

Hardik Patel's father Bharat Patel said the marriage ceremony was planned earlier too but had to be cancelled.
The bride's father said the families have known each other for about 30 years.

Apple Takes Top Spot in Global Wearables Market: Report

Apple Watch shipments grew 13.5 percent over the previous year as the launch of a cellular-connected Watch entered additional markets even as the wearable device shipments slowed down. With four million shipments in the first quarter of 2018, Apple has become the leader in the global wearables market, according to a report by International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker. Apple Watch shipments grew 13.5 per cent over the previous year as the launch of a cellular-connected Watch entered additional markets even as the wearable device shipments slowed down, the report said on Monday. The iPhone market's growth has also outpaced the entire wearables market allowing the company to increase its share from 14.3 per cent in the first quarter of 2017 to 16.1 per cent in the first quarter of 2018.
