This week we saw the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G claim the title of "Best selfie camera", at least according to DxOMark. We're well past the era when phones had only one camera (and it was on the back), yet for one reason or another the rear camera is still treated as more important and gets the better hardware. The Chandigarh Consumer Commission recently ordered Bata India Ltd to pay  ₹ 9,000 in fine for charging   ₹ 3 from a customer for a paper bag to carry the shoebox. Legal experts say the order is legally valid across the country and that stores cannot charge consumers additional charges for the bag if the product is purchased from the same store. The forum's order came on a complaint filed by a consumer, Dinesh Prasad Raturi. Raturi told the consumer panel that he had purchased a pair of shoes on February 5 from the shoe store located in Sector 22D. The store charged  ₹ 402, which also included cost for the bag. Raturi contested that by charging him for the bag, Bata was also endorsing its brand on the bag which was not justified. Raturi sought a refund of  ₹ 3 and compensation for deficiency in services. After the new 11-inch iPad Pro got wrecked in  JerryRigEverything's  durability test, we weren't all that confident the iPad mini 2019 would survive the same test. But woe and behold, it did, even if only partially. The durability test goes as usual - display scratches at a level 6, like most any screen outside of sapphire, the sides are made of aluminum and the burn test leaves no lasting damage as the screen is LCD and not OLED. The bend test is where it gets interesting. Just like the iPad Pro 11, the iPad mini 2019 yields to the pressure and bends badly.
