FAKE AADHAAR USED TO BOOK HOTEL ROOM IN URVASHI RAUTELA'S NAME

The Mumbai Police has registered a case against an unidentified person for using a fake Aadhaar card of Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela to book a hotel room in a starred hotel in Bandra. Initial probe revealed that the Aadhaar card used for booking carried the wrong unique identification number. Urvashi Rautela came to know about the use of a fake Aadhaar card of her name when she went to the Bandra hotel for an event on Tuesday. During the event, a hotel staff approached the actress and informed her that a room was booked in her name. Upon asking, Rautela’s secretary denied having booked any room at the hotel. “I asked my secretary about it and learnt that no booking was done. Someone has misused my name and photograph on the Aadhaar card to book a room in the hotel. However, the Aadhaar number didn’t belong to me,” Urvashi Rautela was quoted as saying. Mi MIX 2S has been unveiled as the new flagship smartphone of popular Chinese brand  Xiaomi  in its home market. As expected, the company has avoided the  iPhone X -like notch with the Mi MIX 2S display, retaining the bottom panel position of the front camera, but has gone with the vertical dual rear camera design. Paul Krugman, the American economist who won a  Nobel Prize  in 2008, has warned that  India  could end up with huge mass unemployment if it does not grow its  manufacturing  sector. "There is this concept called artificial intelligence that you should be wary of. In future, while diagnosis may be outsourced to a doctor in India, it could also go to a firm based on artificial intelligence. Things like this could be a cause for worry for Indian services sector," Krugman said while speaking at a News 18 event. ICICI Bank's Chanda Kochhar, Axis Bank's Sikha Sharma summoned over Gitanjali loans

The mumbai wing of the Serious Fraud Investigation Office has summoned  ICICI Bank  CEO  Chanda Kochhar  and  Axis Bank  CEO  Shikha Sharma  in the Rs 5,000 crore loan extended to Mehul Choksi’s  Gitanjali Gems . The summons sent to both Kocchar and Sharma requests them to appear in person or send a representative. Almost 31 banks are a part of a consortium which had given Rs 5,280 crore working capital facility extended to Choksi’s companies of which ICICI Bank is the lead lender. People in the know also indicated that the fraud office may soon summon other banks who are part of the consortium.
